All four of our guest suites face the lake with a deck or balcony. Each room features a private bath with shower, telephone, satellite TV, high-speed internet, and AC, though seldom necessary. Guests have access to the sauna, the Great Room with its 28 foot-high fireplace, the house library, the kitchen where breakfast is served, the laundry room, and the antique shop where everything but the display cases is for sale.There are antique displays throughout the lodge including an annotated history of American glass concentrating on pattern glass, examples of Victorian ceramic methodology and decoration, tools of the mining and lumber industry, and antique dolls and children's dishes. |

The Lincoln Bedroom Period furniture combines with original Lincoln engravings, lithographs, and souvenirs plus a Civil War library for your perusal, in colors reminiscent of Lincoln's Box at the Ford Theatre. (double bed)

Seashore Room Watched over by pelicans, crabs, and fish, you may relax on Victorian oak surrounded by objects from the sea including a collection of shells and Victorian figural sea life by Royal Bayreuth and others. (two double beds)

Rates
The Americana Room is $150 a night; the Lincoln Bedroom and the North Woods Room are $165; the Seashore Room, which will accomodate four persons, is $175 for two, $200 for three, and $225 for four. A deposit of $50.00 is required when the reservation is made, refunded only with two weeks notice. If you cancel less than 72 hours before our 3pm check-in time, 1 night will be assessed. Reservations may be made by e-mail (ruth @ dapple-gray.com) or phone (906-289-4200 / 866-909-1233). Check-in time is 3:00pm or later; check-out 11:00am.
Breakfast
Breakfast is generally served at 9:00am unless by prior arrangement. Eggs Benedict is our signature breakfast, but a choice of entrees will be offered and will vary by season (e.g., Michigan blueberry pancakes, Midwest corn fritters, Ruth's scrambled eggs with cheese and sour cream).
Transporation
Guests arriving by plane (Houghton County Airport) or by boat (Copper Harbor Marina) will be provided transportation at no extra charge.
